March: WINTER Permaculture Volunteer Day
Date: Sat, Mar 1st, 1pm-4pm
Winter is a time for rest, introspection, and reflection. While the natural world, in appearance, is still and dormant, there is much activity preparing for the longer days and warmer temperatures.
Regardless of the perception of stillness, we as stewards of Earth can assist in ensuring these processes are supported.
In our first volunteer work day of the season, we will apply methods taught in the design system known as permaculture. Tikkun Farm has been blessed with a rolling supply of organic matter in the form of mulch, leaves, and manure. We will be spreading these about the land as thermal blankets of fertility.
We look forward to having you join us.

March: Soul Collage: Listening to our Body Wisdom
Date: Sat, Mar 9, 10am-4pm
So many of the moments we experience are remembered in our bodies long after we remember them in our minds. It’s our bodies that send us signals when our life is out of alignment, when we aren’t living according to our values, when we overcommit or need to rest. Our body often brings us to a full stop when our dreams, anxiety or shame keep driving us to perform and produce. And our bodies have deep wisdom about why we find ourselves stuck or sick.
In our time together we will let our body share it’s wisdom with us using image and contemplation. It will be day of deep listening to the home of our soul.
Cost: $25, includes lunch.
March: Gifts of Imperfection
Date: 8 week workshop, beginning Tue, Mar 19th, 7-9pm
Our life’s work is learning to love well. We have many places to practice this work: families, friends, work, neighbors, school… and we are never finished. Sometimes we do our best loving as we are dying!
Brené Brown has spent her career studying how we connect in our relationships, and what gets in the way of love. In her book The ‘Gifts of Imperfection’ she offers ten ‘guideposts’ for living a “Whole-Hearted” life. In this series we will explore these guideposts, and consider how we can practice them in our day-to-day lives.
